PocBuds Ear Buds are a great value for those that want good sound and durability for a fraction of the cost one would expect to spend on the more popular name brands, particularly a set of airpods. They are compact and unassuming, as one would expect and, while I do prefer the over the ear style of the N35 model that PocBuds offers, the X1 fits quite nicely within the ear and does not give rise to any soreness after extended wear. They feel durable enough and have made it through a couple months usage without any issues.
Packaging is light and precise, avoiding excess material and wasted space. This is always a plus, as I am always surprised at how many manufacturers will utilize wasted space within their packaging in order to make the product appear larger when unopened or unnecessarily use plastics.
Sound quality is great for their size, which is good for the listener, and somewhat better than the N35 that PocBuds offers. There is a bit of sound bleed even at lower volumes, meaning it is possible or others nearby to hear that you are listening to something even if unable to hear what it is you’re listening to. This is nothing unmanageable and not a deal breaker. Bass sounds lower on the X1 than the N35. This may be in part to the devices sitting in the ear a bit better than the N35. Phone calls come in clear and people on the other end of the call haven’t had any issues with clarity on their end so far. They are not noise cancelling as far as I can tell, which some may prefer, but, given the latest information that seems to be coming out of hearing studies with regards to noise cancelling everything these days, this may be a good thing.
Battery life with this brand has never been an issue and the X1 does not disappoint here either. The X1 arrives charged and ready to go, with the case doubling as a backup battery. A clear and bright green led readout informs you of the estimated percentage left stored within and the charged or charging status of the encased buds. When the hidden readout is not active, the surface looks clean with no indication a readout is even present. I honestly can’t even give a estimation of battery life as the buds themselves seem to last an entire work day so far without any sign of quitting and the case seems to last for weeks of standby. They never seem to run out when I or my partner uses them.
Range when connected to an audio device or phone is also great. I’ve been able to wander all around the house without issue when the phone is centrally located and only seem to encounter issues if I were to venture outside and make it around the garage to the trash cans.
As always, PocBuds delivers with exemplary communication, customer service, and stands behind their products with a wonderful warranty. This is my fourth pair of PocBuds and I have been happy with them all so far. All four are still in wonderful working condition and have held up when it comes to durability and longevity.

These Pocbuds came very nicely and securely packaged. Love the look of chrome on the bright white. They are small and compact yet mighty in sound. Affordable ear buds with great quality. The Pocbuds come with a C-charger, it is kind of small in my opinion but great if you have them on a desk or a night stand charging because of not having to have a bunched up cable in the way. The “snap” when the box closes is addicting lol. Maybe that’s just a me thing. The size of the ear bud itself is comfortable to have in your ear. I like that they already come fully charged so that when you receive them, you can automatically start using them. They come with a very easy to follow instruction manual. The sound quality is impeccable especially for the price. It sounds like to me that they are noise canceling ear buds ad well. The quality of sound is amazing. I love them. I bought them for my son, but….. jk, I’m going to give them to him but I’m going to buy myself some too.

These in the ear earbuds have got to be some of the best earbuds I have ever owned. The build quality is excellent along with the sound quality. The earbuds seem to last forever with an exceptionally long battery life they play for hours and hours on a single charge. Actually, they play for days and days on a single charge. The buds are very comfortable in my ears. As a matter of fact, I sometimes forget that I am wearing them. These earbuds are very simple to use, they connect automatically, and it is very very simple to answer and end calls. The price for these ear buds is a great value they not only sound great but look great in my ears.
