Charges quest 3 properly

This battery is great. Unlike most the other batteries, it charges the quest 3 properly. While using the quest 3, the internal quest 3 battery stays at 100%. On other batteries, the quest 3 slowly drains. The ability to hot swap this is great and the strap is comfortable. I highly recommend this.

As far as battery buzzing, I have not heard any buzzing on any of the 3 batteries I got. I also bought the quest 2 version of this with the 2 spare batteries for a total of 3 batteries. The 3 batteries are all identical.

Also, if you leave this attached to the quest 3 while not in use, you can plug the usb-c cable into the back of the battery and it charges both the battery and the quest 3 so you never have to remove the USB-C out of the side of the quest 3 again.

This one may be a keeper. The adjustable dial helps it form to your head and is comfortable. It also comes with a magnetic and removable battery pack on the back. The battery stays in place and does not move during play. The padding on the top is very comfortable. I highly recommend it. You can control how the internal battery is charged by the power switch in the back of the battery. I want to purchase an additional battery, but I do not see anywhere to purchase one. I will give it five stars when I can purchase an additional battery for a decent price. I searched their website and did not see a battery pack for purchase.

I got this thing and immediately charged it. I waited until full then installed it. Installation was easy and the strap is comfy plus the way the battery works is clever and you don’t even notice it.

One big issue… I didn’t get an extra 2 hours of play time off a fully charged quest 3 with this battery. I got about 2.5 hours total maybe 3 at the absolute most. This seems more like a 4000mAh battery not an 8.

The only positive about it is that unlike most batteries currently available it actually does charge the quest 3 while you’re playing something but if it doesn’t add much time to the already low battery life of the quest 3 then what’s the point?

I’d prefer them to expand the cell size to 12000 mAh instead. Weight wise it’s not much different so the unit could be slightly longer about a inch in both directions or a little taller & thicker… It would definitely be worth it then but for the steep asking price this just doesn’t make any sense

Way more comfortable then the standard head strap and cheaper then the oculus brand it has some weight to it for the battery but it basically sits on your had also the adjustment is great

The media could not be loaded.

It was easy to put together, it is a little scary unsnapping the sides off the headset, but if you’re careful it’s fine and you snap the new part on to that, i haven’t even put the top strap on yet cus it works so great now the way it is, I’ll prob put the top strap on soon though because it does start to sag down a little bit it’s much better than it was before, i can game longer and the extra weight in back which isn’t much helps to level it out, i have heard of other brands like kiwi that i might try sometime but you can’t really beat this price and it works, i needed a new strap and this had a battery pack which is a ++ so I’m pretty happy with it

Item arrived quick but has no stand alone charger . Binbok confirmed via email that it does not have a UK compatible charger which makes the detachable battery pointless. Save money and buy a cheaper headset
