I don’t have much to say about this product because it simply works. I haven’t had any issues with the touchpad or other strange things occuring when it’s plugged in. No overheating or anything. It just works, charges as quickly as the original. The build quality is definitely a bit lower than the OEM version, but I’ve been using it for several months and it’s held up quite well. I think it will last a while at least. I would definitely recommend it as a cheaper alternative to the official Microsoft adapter.

I was about to buy the authentic charger from Microsoft which cost $90 for a new one. I am so happy that I searched on Amazon for chargers before placing that order because this charger is basically identical to the charger that Microsoft offers. if I need a new charger in the future, I will definitely buy from this brand again. The Microsoft Charger cannot compete at this price point outside having the “Name Brand” bit that gives us a false sense of security. But it’s going on 6 years strong and it was time to replace the charger that has seen some stuff… this one works great with my Surface Pro 7 and the value for the money is certainly there! Pretty simple, it’s a charger. It works for my Surface, seems to charge a little bit faster than my original charger and the magnet that holds the charger in the slot definitely seems to be able to stay put better as well. Charger itself came inside a box that was then put in a shipping envelope so the packaging for it is better than a lot, I’ve had some where the charger itself was just loose in a bag. So far no issues with overheating, slow charging, lack of charging or cord breakage but I guess we’ll see how it responds to the test of time.
