Very nice – easy to set up – good sound

Had a different brand from several years ago – was a bit concerned that the ear cans were going to be flimsy. They are NOT, they are quite an improvement over my previous headphones – love them. Light weight, do not make my ears hot.

My only slight “complaint” that the volume up/down when the wearing the headphones is a little harder to adjust as the raised part for the + or – is not easily felt – but once you learn which side is up or down – not too important.

And rather like the audible notification of when the unit is connected .

Fantastic Headphone for TV Watching

My wife and I are a bit older now and live in a condo complex. The neighbor’s bedroom is just on the other side of our living room wall. They go to bed early, whereas my wife & I stay up late watching TV at night. Since we are both a bit hard of hearing we didn’t want to have to have the TV turned up loud at night and possibly disturb our neighbors so we decided to give these rechargeable headphones a try. It turned out to be one of the best investments we ever made.
We bought them about two and a half years ago and use them every night. They still work just as good as the day we got them. They are perfect for us. We can keep the TV volume low or turn it off entirely and still have the sound as loud as we like in the headphones. They are especially good because they have a special electronic circuit built into them that accounts for the normal delay when using Bluetooth speakers & headphones. This is a big deal because with this circuit the audio coming through these headphones is exactly synced to whatever program we are watching so the moving lips of the characters on the TV are matched up perfectly to the audio that we are hearing with no delay at all. Most other headphones do NOT have this feature which is why you are paying a bit more for this set of headphones over the competition.

Recently, I noticed (after daily use for 2.5 years) that the ear padding on my set was starting to fray a bit. I called the technical support number only to find out that they are guaranteed for 3 years and they sent of replacements pads to me free of charge. The tech support people couldn’t have been nicer on the phone and they stand by their product.

If you are looking for super high quality, professional headphones for music recording these may not for you as they were not made for that purpose, but if you want good quality headphones for TV & movie watching where you can clearly hear every single sound without any audio delay then I highly recommend this product. I would buy them again in a heartbeat!

We ordered two sets for two different televisions. It worked great on one set, but had issues with the other set. The issues came with an older tv (2011) …it kept disconnecting and reconnecting. So keep that in mind, depending on the age of your set. Our newest (2015) tv has no problems keeping the connection. The sound quality is really good- the headset is comfortable to wear. Connection to 2015 Samsung took all of 30 seconds. The bonus for this set, compared to others, is that anyone not wearing the headphones can still hear the tv…some headphones automatically mute the sound in the room, so that you can only listen thru the headset. With this, you can listen thru the headset and others in the room can still hear thru the television as normal. I have a relative with a much more expensive named brand set, and this not only rivals it…it actually sounds better to me.

I bought these to replace a set of Sennheiser rf series headphones. They served me well for many years but it was becoming clear they longed for retirement. On the plus side I was lucky during set up. These were truly plug and play. Turned everything on as described in the guide and they both automatically paired to the transmitter. I had an open USB on my TV so no need to dig out an adapter for power. My TV offered an optical audio out so sound set up was simple with the supplied cord.

As for the headphones themselves….. the build quality seems fine to me. It didn’t take me long to figure out all the control locations. They are also comfortable to wear and they do block a good deal of “outside” noise. My only complaint is sound quality. I have adjusted them as best I can but they have a “muddier” sound than my old phones. Perfectly adequate for TV, just not as good as I am used to. I will probably not use them for music as they just aren’t dynamic enough. I may long for truer sound but these do what they need to and I am satisfied with the purchase. 90% of their use will be TV anyway.

I bought these because our AC unit is very loud when it comes on and is loud enough to interfere with our TV. The headphones were very easy to set up(works just fine with our Vizio smart TV) and are a godsend for us. They aren’t noise-canceling but do block out most outside disturbing noise(our AC included) and are also great if one of us wants to go to sleep and the other stay up to watch something. We put the headphones on and can listen to the TV without worrying about disturbing the other person sleeping. Like other reviews state, these speakers don’t really accentuate bass, but the sound quality is still great. The headphones are very comfortable to wear. I would absolutely recommend these for those who want good quality and simple headphones for their TV.
