Great battery life but …

I bought this larger bodied watch/fitness monitor assuming it would hold a larger battery than the narrower band style watches. It does as I only charge it once per week and sometimes not until ten days have passed. But, on the two occasions when the battery did run flat and I needed to access the app I found getting the app to load and run correctly was a PITA. The problem is that with multiple wifi and blue tooth devices around the app cannot differentiate between them. That’s poor coding.

It was very easy to set up and it tracks your steps, BPM, and everything right out the box. There is a menstrual option for you ladies who like to keep track of that which I, as a young woman myself, find very useful. It’s non intrusive and fits well on my tiny wrist. I do wish it had to bands for the strap instead of one but either way, it works.
The notifications come through nice and the app makes it a little easier to change certain features you would not wish to see.

Good for the price, still has some flaws

I have been using the watch for about a month and a half now and think it’s a good value. I got it to track sleep and a more accurate way of seeing pace/mileage on my runs without my phone. For those purposes, it works great! I also love the alarm feature for the morning.

The step counting feature is pretty accurate, however it will also count a wrist rotation as a step. I was *grinding herbs* while sitting down and my step goal alarm went off.

Additionally the heart rate monitor accuracy varies greatly. It’s pretty par for the course while I’m running outside or on a treadmill. However when I’m doing an activity that doesn’t initiate as much upper body movement, the heart rate isn’t even close. For example, I use the stairclimber and get my heart rate to 155-166bpm for the majority, but the watch only clocks 90-115 bpm.

My only other critique is that the watch will pause your workout if you click the side button- it seems to always pause itself while I’m doing yoga or lifting weights simply due to wrist movement- so I wish it were a feature you could turn off.

I’m overall happy with the purchase, but got it on sale for 19. I’d be disappointed if I spent more, but my expectations were pretty low so I was pleasantly surprised !

I have had the watch for about 2 weeks. It is very nice. The battery lasts for days and days without a charge. It integrated with my android phone perfectly. There were multiple watch faces I liked freely available. Multiple health features that really are pretty accurate. My samsung galaxy watch 3 battery finally died after 4years of use. My budget couldn’t afford a replacement, this watch is doing a very good job at a VERY economical price.

Update: after leaving the positive review below the watch started giving erratic heart rate readings, stopped recording sleep and the step count went crazy.
Too bad as I really liked the watch but with 3 of the most important metrics in my view not realistic I will be returning this watch and look for something else.

Given the price of this watch I wasn’t expecting a high end watch functionality but so far have been pleasantly surprised.
The following data I have compared with my garmin and Fitbit –
Sleep data seems close in accuracy
Battery life is consuming about 10%/day with heart rate, SPo2 and sleep sensors turned on.
I am not using the drink/stand reminders so can’t speak to that.
Fit and finish of the watch appear good, I did change out the band though as I found the one it came with to big and not aesthetically pleasing.
I am not sure what they mean by “continuous” heart rate monitoring but it appears to be somewhere close to every 5 min., that would be the only downside so far if you are looking for something more frequent.
Step accuracy is close for a watch that does not have built in gps, slightly higher by about 10%.
Overall if you are looking for an economical smart/fitness watch this would be a good basic choice and I would recommend on that criteria.
FitCloudPro app is not bad for details but it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of a higher priced garmin/Fitbit app.

Good watch inaccurate

Okay so like I said in the title good watch but totally inaccurate step counter I say this because before I got this I had average 20 – 25k steps on my apple watch which I had before this and didn’t feel like spending $100+ so got this. Now I have the same routine wake up do schoolwork, workout, and play basketball for 5 hours but in all that time I wind up getting 8 – 9k steps. Yeah so like I said if you aren’t worried about the accuracy which I kinda don’t but wanted to address for anyone I would recommend it good appearance, kinda worth your money, very easy to use, like a 7 day battery life, not that comfortable but can get replacement bands. Just search 22m band hope this is helpful
